Welcome 2025 Brides and Beauties
Happy Engagement & Happy Wedding Planning!
For those who don't know me yet, my name is Katherine Traeger and I'm your bridal designer and seamstress. I have been so impressed with you 2025 brides and how organized you are! This upcoming bridal season has been off to a wonderful start already and I have been loving the dresses you are all choosing for your big day.
Here’s everything you need to know about working with me this year and making your vision for your wedding ensemble come to life!
Whether we are tailoring a new gown to your specific body type, re-designing and extending the life of an heirloom piece, or starting from scratch with a truly custom one-of-a-kind gown, I am here to guide you through each step of the way to co-curate the look and fit that you deserve.
I've already checked in with most of you, but I wanted to reach out with some general information and share some exciting updates with you all.
#1. Timeline
I usually book your first fitting appointment no more than 6-8 weeks from your wedding date to ensure the most accurate day-of fit possible. If you would prefer an early start, that is entirely up to you.
Fittings are usually 45-50 minutes. I do not have a reception room, so please be punctual.
If you would like to schedule your initial consultation early, you are welcome to come in as early as mid-January to get things moving.
Please feel encouraged to email/text photos of you in your gown to me as soon as possible so I can be better prepared for our first meeting. (541) 517-2317 or traegerkatherine@gmail.com
If you don't anticipate any size changes/fluctuations between now and your wedding date, you are more than welcome to opt for an early start date as well.
I need a consultation & first fitting, a final-try-on, and in some cases, a second/third fitting in between. We can usually do your consult and the first fitting in one appointment.
Unless you request to meet early, you can expect to hear from me one to two months before the 8-week mark to get an appointment date set.
If you would like to go ahead and book today, please fill out a request form HERE and head over to my calendar HERE to view my availability for the next 6 months. If you need to book after that window, please reach out so we can plan accordingly. I cannot accept appointments for clients who have not yet filled out a request form.
#2. Investment
Basic Bridal Alterations including hems, taking in sides, tightening straps, and adding a bustle range from $400-600 with more advanced modifications ranging from $800-$1,200. Each gown is different and I can usually provide a quote by seeing photos of the gown on your body in advance. I am a master at working with a budget, so let me know in advance if you have any questions.
Wedding planning can be stressful, so I do my best to take a load off by offering service bundles that save time on your end and add value to your investment. My packages group items such as alterations, dressing services, and preservation to make my business your one-stop-shop for all things ensemble related for you, your moms, and your bridesmaids. If you would like to book your bridal party alterations with me, my all-inclusive packages are the way to go!
I accept cash or checks made out to Katherine Traeger LLC. If you need to pay with a card, there will be a 3% processing fee.
#3 What I need from you before we meet
Please have your wedding shoes and undergarments with you for each appointment.
If you need help choosing the proper undergarments for your gown, reach out and check out my free guide, The Complete Guide to Bridal Undergarments, HERE. I have an entire Online Storefront dedicated to trusted bridal undergarments. You can shop it HERE.
While optional, seeing photos of you in your dress before we meet is always helpful. You can text them to me at (541) 517-2317 or shoot me an email.
If you would like to sign up for any of my service bundles or to build your own, it's helpful if you can do so as soon as possible so I can build my schedule accordingly. This is an excellent way to save on preservation & custom accessories! (Sign Up HERE)
#4. New Services
I have added several new a la Carte services to my 2024 brides, but four that I am most excited about are as follows:
In-House Cleaning & Preservation: After your wedding day, no one will know your gown better than I do, inside and out. Let me take the cleaning and preservation burden off of your shoulders by taking advantage of my newest service! You can also bundle your alterations & preservation by pre-booking your preservation early for major savings.
I also offer Day of Dressing Services to take the responsibility of steaming the bridal party gowns and getting-ready outfits so that everything is picture-perfect come wedding time. This service includes four hours of service steaming bridal party gowns and robes, last-minute repairs, dressing, "fluffing" your train before walking down the aisle, adjusting your gown for photos, and fastening your bustle. This optional service is $400 for 4 hours or $650 for 8 hours, or you can save by bundling your alterations and dressing services in one of my all-inclusive packages.
I am also offering custom veils and accessories for those of you who don't have them yet! Having a custom veil made to match your gown guarantees the most affordable and perfectly matched options. You can incorporate elements of your mother's veil or gown or completely design your own to match your exact vision.
Three words: Dress. Reveal. Party. Upgrade your final try-on/pick-up appointment by inviting your hype squad for your preferred combination of treats, charcuterie, champagne, and tea! Enjoy some extra special time together admiring your completed wedding ensemble before your big day.

#5 Fitting Locations
I am located at 90 E Grant Street in Lebanon, Ore. next to Chase Bank, and directly behind Wells Fargo. Park in the west lot and you’ll see a red door with my sign and Victory Electric’s sign on it. Please call/text call when you arrive so I can escort you in if it's not up yet by your first fitting.
Please be punctual! I schedule my appointments back to back, so I often cannot accommodate arrivals of more than 10 minutes early or late.
Please refrain from smoking 30 minutes prior to your arrival. The fabrics I work with are very sensitive to nicotine and I cannot accommodate cigarette smoke/odor in my atelier. If you need special accommodation regarding this topic, please reach out.
#6 Very Bridal Tea Parties
Every few months I host bridal tea parties as a thank you to each of my brides and as a lovely excuse for everyone to dress up and wear their wedding owns again! I will be sending out an email when my next event dates are released.
Ok wow, that was a lot to take in! Thank you for bearing with me and reading to the end. Please reach out with any questions you may have and enjoy these last few months of wedding planning before your amazing big day!
I am so honored to have this job and be able to serve each one of you. Thank you for choosing my small business for your bridal sewing needs, and I'll look forward to seeing you all soon!
